Upper Red Lake

PortAvilla / Alpine will be scouting areas on Upper Red Lake this winter finding areas that produce the best possible fishing opportunities. We can set up portable options for those that want to get out and move around. We check-in with guests to see how things are going and give direction on lure / bait selections and what presentations are working best.

PortAvilla / Alpine is located on the south shores of Upper Red Lake. We are a family-owned business with something to offer the whole family, with our complete lineup of ice cabins ranging in sizes from two to six-man houses. Upper Red Lake is well known for its walleye fishing, but there are opportunities for jumbo perch, monster crappies and gigantic northern pike. During the ice fishing season, we take pride in making sure every guest has the best time on the ice.
